The Panzer IV arrives from Aberdeen Proving Grounds on a rainy day.

The Panzer IV was thoroughly secured for the trip from Maryland.

This Panzer IV is an early G model with globular muzzle brake.

Screens cover the openings that were cut out many years ago at APG.

The turret stowage box was also cut open years ago.

The round engine muffler is rusted out, but the square auxillary turret traverse engine exhaust beside it is intact.

An M88 ARV is brought in to unload the Panzer IV.

Because the drive train is frozen, the M88 has to lift the tank off the trailer.

Once it is lifted up far enough, the trailer will be pulled out from under it.

Museum restoration specialist O.B. Edens in white helmet oversees the unloading.
