On March 6, the volunteers gathered at Richardson Motor Pool to work on several projects. Here Coleman Gusler works on removing more bolts from a bogie on Cobra King.

Don Moriarty has been working on uncovering any markings under the layers of paint applied over the years. In this photos, most of the paint has been removed from the right side except for those markings seen here.

Paint has also been removed from the left side.

To learn more about the damaged idler wheel, Don removed the hub to access the retaining nut in preparation for removing the idler.

After removing the hub, it was found that the grease had liquified over the years.

The idler wheel after the hub was removed showing the bearings and liquified grease.

The idler wheel, now removed, will be inspected to determine if there are any fragments inside the wheel that can be analyzed.

Don also removed one of the road wheels on the left side.
