WELCOME This site presents information on the General George Patton Museum and its volunteer program. It offers news on their work on projects, events, exhibits and the general support they offer the museum through photos and material from various contributors who have generously added to this site. - The Patton
Museum Volunteer News section has been updated showing recent
work inside the museum. Effective November 1, 2012, the museum will be closed Sundays. The museum will also be closed the week between Christmas and New Years, December 23, 2012 to January 2, 2013. The
new museum operating hours are: Effective at the close of business on November 24, 2012, the Patton Gallery will be closed to the public. This is necessary for us to do some prep and restoration on the Patton artifacts before they go back on display next June, 2013.
The
Patton Museum volunteers wish to express their gratitude and support
to all of the men and women serving in our armed forces worldwide.

ANNOUNCEMENTS The
Patton Museum Grand Opening Scheduled for June 14 The
museum will be closed to the public June 10-13 to ensure final exhibit
preparations and will reopen to the public on June 14 at the conclusion
of the opening ceremony at 10:00 a.m. SEARCHING

SEARCHING FOR HISTORY The
Patton Museum volunteers, with the cooperation of Range Control, conducted
a search of certain areas on post in hopes of discovering forgotten
artifacts that will help the museum tell the story of Fort Knox's history.
